Think I saw 49cents/lb. at the market up here. I never buy a whole one since 1. no room in the fridge and 2. I can't eat a whole one before spoiling.

Thanks, I just finished a quarter of one. Working on mangoes, peaches, apples, pineapple and papaya right now. Nephew gave me the mango and papaya.

Kandy, I can go through a whole one in a week on my own. I cut half into chunks at a time.
