Good news Ivey. Go slow yet. Have the shingles improved some? Hopefully.
The rash is pretty much gone but the nerve pain is still killing me, like an iron stuck on my side. I welcome any suggestions on how to treat this. I'm still on Gabapentin 3 times a day, Lidocane doesn't touch it and I'm taking a z pack now that hasn't helped.

I'm sure you know there are creams to help manage nerve pain from shingles. I don't have any personal experience with this cream but I've heard it really helps from some of my former clients. It's called Emuaid. CVS and Walgreens carry it. Not sure what it costs. There also some clinics that help manage nerve pain via laser treatments. There may be one near you. Laser pain relief has had some positive results for many people. Hope this helps a little.

Thank's G I'll be going to CVS today and searching for a clinic that does the laser thing. Most of the pain clinics around me only offer drugs and I don't want to be a zombie cause I can't go out and fish then either. This is a very debilitating thing to go through and I'm sure the surgery, and upper and lower GI's I've had have affected it but something has to change.

So sorry to hear this Ivey, love never had them myself but others have described the pain as excruciating. Sure hope it soon clears up.

Check with a pharmacist. Sometimes they have more knowledge on what works the best other than prescription drugs that have the negative side effects you want to avoid.

Will do, I spoke with one Doctor Friday and he gave me the Z pack but it just hasn't helped. I've looked up the Emuaid cream and the cooling sounds like just what I need. Will keep you posted.
Good morning y’all! Currently 59 and raining with a high of 76. We’ve been needing a break from the triple digits and we need the rain. So far we’ve gotten a little over half inch and my lawn is loving it. If ya can, get out and get your lines stretched tight!

G-mornin knuckleheads. 75 already. Headed for 90 again. My grass is really getting dry. Working 4 today. My BIL is headed home after 3 weeks remodeling our bathroom. The house will be much quieter. That works for me.
I thought I invented a new color the other day. Then I realized it was a pigment of my imagination.
Have a good Sunday angling humanoids.
Mornin Greg. Have a great day buddy
Good miening all. 50* this late rising morning and going to a lovely 75. It was a long day yesterday and a late night so everyone is sleeping in this morning. SIL leaves today daughter and grands stay. The rodeo last night was a lot of fun. Have a choice today, back to the river with little new found knowledge or off to lake fish trout where it's supposedly a little easier. There's also a stocker pond for kids 15 and under. Could take the granddaughter there.
