I first traveled to Seattle on August 13th 1975 to combine business with a fishing trip for salmon. The following morning, I saw in the newspaper that salmon fishing had been closed for all non-natives. Talk about an incredible disappointment! Apparently this was a rare occurrence at that time but is now much more common.

Nice. I've fished the bubble a long time ago. Caught a few salmon there.

This reminds me of my friend. He and I would fish and he would net my fish. He wasn't catching any so I didn't have to net his fish. One night I got a phone call at 11:00 PM. When I answered it, he said "guess how big it is". He had gone out by himself and fished the bubble. He had finally caught a salmon. Not sure why he called so late, but I thought it was funny.
