Well I got off easy, bought middle level tires for my F250. Paid about $975 for the four! Gas next door from the tire store was $5.69/ gal for reg.

10 ply? less than $1000 for HD truck tires seems hard to do.

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Southern California. I paid $135 for 19.5 gallons of gas. I think it was about $6.90 a gallon. Getting a set of tires under $1,000 is pretty good these days.

I would check your tires again. Never heard of a 235/70R16 10 ply (load range E)

My brother in Gonzales, La. just bought some there for $3.85 gal, and here in Lafayette still between $4.25 and $4.55.

It's a joke! yes they will do it, but it is only for the weekend. I think it will be around a nickel saved.

It appears the "Help" (release of fuel from strategic reserves and gas tax) are all meant to run from now to election time this November then expire, is that Right?
