I’m gonna fly fish the Kern July 4 weekend. Anybody been lately? Any advice/suggestions on spots to hit or flies to use?

Dry flys should be good, in a worse case you can use a dropper hopper set up. Hopefully not to many thunder showers at higher elevations increasing flow.

Good Luck to you Nazis! Haven't been up there for over 20 years , don't know the names of places up there, but we caught lots of Trout! Keep an eye out for the Sunning Rattlers please,,
