Sarcodes sanguinea - Snow Plant Snow plant is an herbaceous perennial wildflower with a limited geographic distribution in California, Nevada, and Oregon. Snow plant with its scarlet red coloration and early spring flowering is a beautiful wildflower.

Isnโ€™t it a plant that produces snow? Like an automotive plant produces Autos.

Coca Plant those make cola but itโ€™s not carbonated but the carbonated type had the numb stuff in it to.

Yes, that's them.
We have them in our neighborhood in Tahoe
Thought I would post some pics of them.
They truly are beautiful. Deep dark red and they come up in places that the snow stays the longest. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

I read about them it sounds like they are a plant that happens like Mushrooms do. So canโ€™t just plant them

Wow I havenโ€™t seen those plants since I used to camp in the El Dorado natโ€™l Forest on the Bear River Reservoir those plants would be all over the side of the hill next to the camp site

They are special and of course pretty I never knew what they were called now I know the pictures you took are super nice ๐Ÿ‘ great close ups
