Hey I'm new around here in larose/Lockport/ cutoff area . Trying to take full advantage of this next best were supposed to have this evening since I missed this mornings window. This place is hard on gaming laws so knowing where I am free to fish and what is off limits is my biggest downfall. And where I'm located it's just not Poppin off any action whatsoever and I'm going through withdrawals I just wanna feel a bite on my line at least I mean that's not asking much right???

Go further south toward Port Fourchon. Good fishing down there.

Welcome to the stage GB. From Leeville south to Grand Isle you can catch specs and reds from the side of the road. Of course tides and wind play a big part and access to pits, canals and culverts is key. If you can fish weekdays as there is less pressure. Drive down and look for some spots occupied by roadside fishers and even places you believe would hold fish. Get some cocohoe minnows and a bait bucket you can keep in the water. Fresh or frozen shrimp also. Try artificial and get yourself some popping corks. If you are not sure about what to get, PM me, private message, and I will give you some pointers. Check out the LDWF site below for regulations. Good luck.
