With this high inflation I'd like others to add cost saving suggestions:
1) but frozen concentrate juices and add water. Generally<$1.50-2.30 per can verses $3.00 to $5.00 per container. 1/2 the price.
2( don't buy 50-50 anti-freeze buy the concentrate add water from your hose. It cost about $2.00 more but you got 2 gallons instead of one. It's way cheaper to provide your own water
3) never go to the grocery store hungry. You'll buy more than you need.
4 ) shop pharmacies for the cheapest price on medication.you'll be surprised at the difference.
5 )check prices on fuel . Diesel in my area varied by $.40 per gallon with many stations adding $ 0.10 per gallon for credit card or debit card.
6) grow a garden and learn canning. My mother had a hot house and trained tomato plants, pepper plants and rose bushes she rooted for fertilizer, seed ,potting soil and supplies.at local hardware stores.

I'll add one I forgot negotiate your medical bills if you can. Call doctors office and see if they'll negotiate. Same for hospital and other services. You can save up to 50% by negotiating and paying all at once verses paying over time. If you need a surgery call the administration and schedule on days of the week when OR is less busy. You'll save big. Most people schedule Thursday or Friday so they will not lose work and be in the hospital on the weekends or holidays.

All into this!

#7) Stop / limit eating out. After several road trips over the last couple months, we've found the snacks in the cupboard are cheaper and healthier, and fill the void til destination. Seems we also spend less time from point A to point B

I have part D insurance, but I also have a Goodrx card. Often. thje goodrx price is way less than my deductible. You can't use both, it's one or the other.

Same here some of my long term medications cost me 30 cent's to $ 3.00 ✓ my oxycodone for back pain. Sometimes I reach zero reaching my deductible early in the year.

I recently had some medical that was $800 for a 90 day supply which I couldn't afford so I asked what it was for a 30 day supply and it was only $30 I asked why so much cheaper and was told it is not unusual for it to be cheaper to buy it 30 days at a time but other times cheaper to buy 90 days. all depends on how the insurance pays

Medical insurance policies are written by lawyers and require lawyers to decipher them. There fore it's best to have a retainer lawyer. Many companies offer this with their medical, dental and accident insurance policies. So if your employed buy such a company ask to get it it's cheaper due to the buying power. Sometimes various organizations have these services available.

8) RV parts many times you can save money on replacement parts on line. Or camping world will match prices. I've replaced toilets, refrigerator, leveling jacks ,and electric jacks in this manor. Instead if replacing bearings e brakes on a RV trailer I get the number and order axel assembly ,brakes, springs and hugs ready to go from the manufacturer. It's cheaper than peace by peace as well as easier to put on.

9) broke down on the side of the highway we've all been there. AAA or motor club will help with tows and tire changes but not tow your boat trailer. I've googled mobile mechanics who come where you are. They will pick up your parts if you pay for them at automotive stores. It's way cheaper than a dealership, tow, and the overnight motel stay. Your back in the road ina few hours.ive done this for broke fan belts, pulleys, and brake power boosters.

10) there are mobile RV repair services who will come to your site replace components such as refrigerator,AC, ect. Their hourly rate is cheaper than dealership. There will be a few for the he service call. I buy may parts in line and have them delivered to my RV site. It's cheaper that way plus I don't have to get a motel and pull RV to dealership ship

Good idea. Please add to the list. I replaced two new whole axle assemblies with springs for $1200.00 delivered my site. After having used them to stop truck coming down mountains in west Virginia Pennsylvania, new York , dealership estimate over three thousand, mobile RV repair $2200. I did it myself . Remove two tires ,cut wires to brake system and undone four spring bolts in each. The brake power boosters in truck went out had to get to new job by Monday it was a Sunday so I used trailer tapper brake to stop truck

For groceries I learned when putting myself through college and living in poverty that you need money to make/save money. I got a little ahead then when for example green beans came on sale I could buy a few cases at sale price and then while others only bought a few cans on sale and then had to eat full price stuff, I ate only sale priced goods.
People generally feel that you buy a larger size item your price per ounce will be less. Lot of stores capitalize on this and if you look closely you may see that smaller sizes are cheaper per unit.
Some time when the store you are shopping at has everything you need, that some of the items are cheaper elsewhere yet you save money because in one trip you got everything and didn't have to drive all over the place getting the cheaper items especially at these current fuel prices.
I have a happy memory of my Mom. I would drive down to visit her about 100 miles away and she would have me drive her to pick up some bedding plants. I was driving my F250 Diesel so we went to a bunch of different stores checking on the plants and finally found a place that was selling them for a penny less than the others. I laugh to my self about the cost of driving around to save a penny a plant, but it was about spending time with Mom. She passed Feb 2019 at a couple months short of 103.
I learned from her and Dad back in the 1950's to pressure can and after college when I had a place and garden I started Pressure canning my garden stuff and my fish. I have 4 Pressure canners and have had all 4 going at one time when I and my son brought home a big batch of Albacore we caught, 19 ea. So much better than any stuff you buy in stores.

Shop your home, car, boat insurance bundle every couple years. I saved a grand between State Farm and changing to Safco. Their loyalty to you for being insured with them for 30 years or paying more to get better service is hype. Keep the money in your wallet and treat yourself better.
