The obvious is very present with you isnโ€™t it you are a person with very little patience so good luck ๐Ÿ‘ fishing and finding help being in a hurry is not a good way to want to fish

Just saying ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

Too many ads. I can just imagine how many emails I'm going to get from spam. I'm just trying to find out if there is any stripers hitting at Knights Landing or if I'm too late for the Run? I'm at Avid Fisher at Verona but they sold the boat launch I guess we're going to make it into some thing else. So I thought I'd try Knights Landing sounds like I probably won't go. Thanks

Nope. Not a scam. Just a good place to go if you like talking about fishing and things related to it. I think you're a bit late for the spring run and the big mamas. But there's always some keeper sized males hanging around. Try throwing a rattle trap up in by the bank and reelin it out.

Hey Slngnink, welcome to the stage. I think you'll like it here. There are several guys from around your area on here. ALL of them love fishin and are willin to help out with info if they can.
I would try trollin for the stripers. We do pretty well most times over here on the Napa and Petaluma rivers.
Let us know how you do and if you catch any post some pics.
Good luck and tight lines to ya when you go.

I don't know a thing about Knight's Landing other than where it's at, but I've fished a lot on the Feather, just been a while. A co-worker owned a boat and we used to launch at Boyd's Pump and then head up to Shang Hai Bend and fish the hole right below the falls there. Been probably 6 years or so since I've been up there and I understand that the falls collapsed and it's all changed now, but I would still go up there and check it out - used to be a great spot for stripers, catfish and salmon in the fall. You get to Boyd's Pump by turning off Garden Highway going into Yuba City. You can go to Google Maps and look it up. Free parking and it's out in the middle of the orchards, so pretty secure.

You won't get a boat in there unless its a kayak or raft, water is low.

You are about a month to late in that area. The big schools have spawned North of Knights Landing and left. The best you can hope for are the few slowly returning from way up North and the locals. Water is pretty low. Thought it was going to be a good year and then they cut the flow out of Shasta. Lost count how many years in a row I passed on Striper fishing. Of course the catfishing can be pretty good at KL.
