Dang brother. I saw LOTS of fishy lookin places I would have tried to catch one from on that boat ride. Y'all just blew right by lots of downed trees and big rocks along the shore.
I've never fished that river but I sure woulda tried some of that structure.
Maybe you needed a different guide.

Yep they was definitely a lot of structures they pass by I definitely would fish those falling trees 👍🏽🎣🎣🎣🐠🐠🐟🐟🐋🐋🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅

We fished for striper for several hrs each day my buddy missed 3 or 4 bites. The guide has become a friend and I can honestly say he did all he could no stripers. We talked to 3 other guides and several anglers who weren’t getting anything either. The trout fishing was good for anyone going after them though. We had a good time anyway. I will be fishing the Cumberland river with my boat soon so I think we will be eating striper soon.
