Made in CHINA

This is the primer bulb for my oil tank. (I have an Evinrude with the VRO lubrication.) The rubber is still soft and flexible, but that crack would have cost me some high dollar repairs if I didn't pre-mix at 100:1 in addition to the VRO.

And no, it wasn't exposed to sunshine. It had no excuse for cracking.

DO NOT - DO NOT - DO NOT - DO - NOT use anything made in China if the item's failure would be costly!
I'll still sometimes use Chinese made things to save money if I'll only lose its purchase price when it fails. But if something valuable (like even just much of your time) depends on something, it BETTER NOT be made in China!

I agree but the problem is it is getting very hard to find something NOT made in China

I have a very very hard time finding anything MADE IN USA. If I do find something I will buy it before I buy something made in China even if it cost more it will last longer, be more dependable and made of better quality materials.

Little David you're so right there. Be careful even with made in USA. Many companies are now owned by foreign entities 👍🤔

I searched all over for a replacement for my primer bulb, looking at 'country of origin' as my first criteria for selection. They're getting smart, they know that we don't want Chinese made, and so I saw labels like 'Assembled in USA'. That particular item had reviews online reflecting the same cracks I'd experienced, so I passed that one up. I guess that quality is just a quaint old fashioned concept.

Little David, I have been buying Double H work boots for over 30 years. I messed up and bought a pair of Double H boots that were made in Mexico not too long ago. I’m 3 months the right boot broke down and the boots were worthless. I sent a review of the boots to Double H but heard nothing. I since bought another pair of USA Union made Double H boots and I expect them to get me through another year plus.
After looking up other American made boots, seems like almost all of them are having Mexico make some of their boots. Be very careful when ordering anything online. 😎👍

That's what they do Barnacles. Try to slide one in on us. Big business did get big by caring about the consumer. We depend way to much of foreign companies for what we need 😡

How do you fight something that states right on the box.......'made in USA'. Yep the box is made here but the faucet inside was made in good ol' china.

Who’s the person in Quality Control that’s what I want to know. These new boots I bought from Double H says Made in USA with Global parts. The boots fit nice but I didn’t like the light color of the boots, by the way they are bison. Has a tag with American Bison. We’ll see. I rubbed that conditioner on and the boot did get a little darker. I figure after I wear them Tuesday they’ll be broken in and I’m gonna be wearing my new cowboy boots Roper Style.👍
But anyway what I want to know , is this an orchestrated screw up because nobody sad “Hey, I’m the quality control, like Alexander Haig, “I 😎got it”
Good night and God bless
