fishfinder Loc: Phila , no, eastern shore va

Went fishing out of Cape Charles Virginia yesterday about noon. Waves were 1to 2 feet.
Went out to latimer shoal. Saw several boats fishing for cobia
My catch total was one spike weakfish and one small shark . Both caught on squid or minnows on outgoing tide.

I haven't talked to my friend that fishes the James River lately. He usually loads up on croaker and catfish.

Fishing off of Back River (Bluefish Rock) is not any better. No flounder but lots of sharks..

I fish out of Lynnhaven. Haven't been out this year because of taking care of wife and trying to build a cabin at hunt camp so I can take her along and it'll be comfortable for her. We have a popup there but it's hard for her to enter and she can't make it up to the communal bathroom so I'm building her own within the cabin. I'm not too disappointed as the heat is gearing up and I'll be ready to go in the fall when the flounder and specks are really in style. Tight lines to all of ya'll. God Bless and keep ya'll well.
