Hey all Y'all. For non-rednecks that means more than two. No I don't talk like that but my southern cousins do. I'm happy to join this site and learn as much as I can. I'm 72 and fished mostly unsuccessful on and off. Mostly when the kids were little. A friend is a awesome sportsman and recently taught me how to approach the sport. I just bought a Jon boat, excited to give it my best. The plan is to head out early tomorrow. I never heard of a live well until I got the boat. I'm hoping to put some table fare in that thing. Welcome to the John Boat Brigade! We put lots of fish in the box. My little 18' even caught a sailfish off Clearwater Beach. So many lobsters to flounder too. Go get ya some Too!
Haha. Just got back from a awesome pond. Breath taking beautiful. But got skunked today. That's okay, I learned a new spot and I'll go back. I'm still working out some kinks on my boat. I'm almost dialed in, it's all good. Thank you for the encouragement friend! 👍🏻🎣

going to fish at a neighborhood retention pond. It has bass sunnies catfish carp and some gar. maybe more . No boat I bank fish. Biggest bass Ive caught out of it was a 3lb er. but its fun. and only 6 minutes from my house. cant beat that. But its just too hot most days to go until almost 7 pm
It's hot as a fire cracker in Savannah! Too hot. 🥵 The pond was 48 miles, I can't go there very often. Only so much time. Bankstalker, catch a bunch.
