Wife had a fender bender the other day now the driver’s side fender and hood are out of alignment, no dents. After stopping at a red light she then started to turn right but went to wide and clipped the car in the next lane going the same direction. Now the woman is claiming neck and back pain.
The woman is now claiming my wife was speeding and had an eye witness to the fact.
Little does she know is that everything was recorded on the dash cam and the video is now on my cell phone.
I wonder if she knows the meaning of perjury?
All of this was before her hip surgery, she can’t drive until she is better.
Love it when the good prevails.
Sounds like 👍 a slam dunk for you and wife
It’s terrible 😢 how a simple issue becomes a ordeal when someone decide that they are untitled to a whole lot more than the obvious 😡🥵🤬

They swapped insurance information.
Wife took a picture of her drivers license and she was driving with an expired license.
It gets better all the time.

It looks like, for once, the good guys will come out on top. Good Luck Larry.

It’s in the hands of the insurance company now. Someone is going to look at our vehicle sometime soon.
Expired isn’t good but suspended means much more. Documentation and no variance in statements is very important. If camera has any evidence to prove dishonesty on the other party it should be brought forward the Insurance Companies won’t tell anyone to not seek medical attention to avoid future problems. You probably have 2 years to settle. Insurance will protect you.
It never ceases to amaze me by the balls some people have when they think a “payday” is coming. There may be traffic camera footage available for backup too (if necessary). Good luck with the case…and to your Wife!
I hope the other driver gets exactly what she deserves.

Did anyone call the police? That should have been done as soon as it was determined that there were no injuries.

If it goes to court Larry, hopefully they get the other woman for perjury once the video is seen. People like that need to be brought down a few notches.
Glad to hear you have everything documented Larry. Maybe for once, good will prevail

Here in California the police won’t show up if it’s just a minor accident. They say to just exchange information.
I’m not sure when the woman made the claim about her pain.

Here is another one for you folks. Many, many years ago, I was the Recreation Supervisor for the city of Huntington Beach, CA. I was in charge of all youth and adult sports. On the way home from checking the men's softball leagues one night, I came to a complete stop at a red light. I was in the left hand turn lane. I reached down to turn the radio station and took my foot off the break for just a second an rolled forward and gently tapped the car in front of me. Went up to apologize, and I hear the father tell his son to pretend his neck hurts. Police come out and take a report.
At the time I see the boy (about 11-12) wearing a H.B. youth sport shirt. A few days later I get a phone call that they are suing me. Totally bogus claim. So I go through all the sign ups for youth football and find the boy and where he is playing. I go out to the park and check with my director there and have him point out the boy. He is there practicing with no pain whatever and having fun. So, I have one of my fellow Supervisors call the parent, and tell them they are aware of his injury, and that he will not be able to play any sports in the city until we get a doctors release. At which time they claim the boy is not really hurt. Problem solved. But what if it was just a normal citizen?
