After a couple of days of nonstop care, yard work, and doing stuff, I needed a break. So I drove the whole 1.5 miles to a local pond with my stress relief gear. Called a nearby buddy on the way. He said he was burned out, and needed a break also.
What a nice time we had. We kind of fished. But for the longest time, we just sat on sunny bank, leisurely casting, but mostly gabbing. It was so relaxing. Two old guys hanging out at the pond.
Oh, I did manage to land a few fish along the way.

Way to go . We all need that every now and then. Just get away relax enjoy what you love to do. Even if it’s just some alone time.
