Went to our solid waste place this morning to drop off a load of cardboard into recycling
Saw a stack of batteries
Asked the guy “ you mind if I take a couple of those!@ he said sure
Optima blue top caught my eye. Series 34 950 CCA dual purpose.
Grabbed it
Also saw a Die hard AGM platinum with 1150 CCA and 205 RC series 31 M
Blue top had 11.89 v and is on smart charger now. This will be my spare as I just used an identical battery to put in my Lincoln and gave the one I took out to my buddy for his Jon boat
The Die hard had 12.36v
It’s going in the front of my Nitro to solve my weight distribution issue.

Funny how people get rid of batteries for free, we’ve got a recycling place that pays 5$ for a 12 volt battery that’s dead much less than 12 volts of power, fascinating.
