"Mike" obviously hasn't read much of the forum or even the attic, at all. His assessment of left vs. right is totally whackadoodle. There are FAR MORE right-leaning members that post than l*****ts here.....I can recognize the obvious difference, each and every time I delve into the "attic". Like DC said, I appreciate the attic for it's ability to allow each member to express themselves as they see fit, on a variety of subjects, not just those that are blatantly political.
His apparent departure is a measure of how he deals with any views that don't echo his own. That's fine, I like strong folks who "walk the talk", regardless of their perspective, not "weak sticks", who bail at the slightest controversy.

Is wackadoodle a right or left word?
Yankeedoodle sounds right to me.
well if it fits it is the right word but if it is the only word you havent used then it would be the only one left so it would be a left word. guess it is a by-partisan
Re: whackadoodle.......
Might just be my native Kansan and father minister's household (therefore, no curse words) upbringing, but my family used several words and phrases that were a little different..... whackadoodle, diddly-squat, hoity-toity, heebie-jeebies, "no skin off my nose", "better than a sharp stick in the eye", "colder than a well-digger's boots", "sharper than a good axe", "tighter than a drum in the sun", "heavier than a John Deere", "oh, for crying out loud", and so on.
It wasn't until I went off to college that I realized that many of these were "the nice words".... substitutes for cursing....and many could be replaced by the use of one of the two words that were never uttered in my father's household or presence.... either SH#T or F**K(-ing, -ed)....both being the most versatile words in the English language, imo !
Pretty sure there's never been a 'partisan' label put on any, so feel free to use or abuse any of the above.
