Slim I think most of us know and our kids know about those little lies that are for the good not the bad. But there are ones that use those lies just to justify their lies and the stuff that they do that are bad. And there's nothing wrong with a good wrestling match🤗

I’ll agree with that Whitey. But it amazes me the number that say,oh I never told my kids any lies. When you remind them of those white lies,it does create some red faces

Used to call them little white lies. Nope never felt guilty, but never had to mention anything about wrestling either. We just rearranged the furniture once a week

Thought of feeling bad about lying to my kids never accured to me! Kids are not ready to know everything grown ups know. And they ask about EVERYTHING CONSTANTLY!!! I tell them what they need to know. If I need to tell a lie to get them to move on then that’s what’s done. Any parent who would say they would never lie to there kids is either delusional or not a good parent. Kids don’t need a friend that tells them all the adult things in life when they are a child. They need a parent to shelter them and explain adult things as it becomes appropriate.

J your comment gave me a flashback of a somewhat halarious time my daughter asked me a question. She was around 6 at the time. We was talking a ride n I looked over n saw a big old boar on a show. Yep I without thinking said they're makn bacon. Then can the question where are they making bacon daddy. I like I want to see them making it. I'm sure my face was red. Looked at her mom n she was laughing her a&& off. All I could do was laugh also. Told her we didn't have time maybe some other day. Thankful she never asked me again. 😂😂

I agree J,, I can see my grandsons learning from their Dads ( my sons) & Moms and am just amazed,, I see my Sons teaching them as they were taught, they don't need to know everything this soon,,👍👍
