I went fishing with some friends on the Manitowoc River. When we arrived we were very impressed with the layout. There was a deck up about 12 feet off the water and steps going down to a concrete ledge on the shore. Never having fished there before I tried a drop shot crawler and my friend cast a crankbait. Enjoyed it so much we went back another day. A good time was had by all.

The river is a tributary that goes right into Lake Michigan. In Greenbay that would be the average fish. I haven't gone there yet but saw them on fishing shows. I will be going this year. I'm invited back to the friends place in fall for Salmon, can't wait.

I've watched Zona up there, as well as St. Clair and the fish were awesome! It's a great fishery, especially after the Gobies showed up. The next world record should be coming soon.
