Went a couple hours earlier did no good no bites till 5:30 1nice spot bass and a bunch of bluegill 8 keepers. Be coming a fan of those spot bass a fighter dart while pulling down instead of trying to come up and dance. Fun on the ultralight.

Nice catching Reb. I've heard that the they fight like a Smallie, but I've never caught one. Don't have them up here. Thanks for the pictures.

About 2 weeks ago my coworker showed me the difference between a largemouth and a spot. Black vertical lines and he has a rough tongue vs a smooth tongue a largemouth

That's what I heard too Reb, also their jaw is a little shorter. It doesn't go past the eye like a Largemouth does.

Bluegills are sure biting in AL right now. I caught 14 at Inland Lake this weekend!
