I live in Palatka Fl.
Will be fishing the St. John's River and surrounding lakes for Crappie(Specks) mostly and Catfish.
I will fish for whatever is willing to bite too.

Welcome aboard.haven’t fished up near you but had some decent luck farther south. I remember it was near a recreation area of Whitney street but I don’t remember the town. Maybe some of the locals can help.

Welcome Fisher, never fished the St. John’s but have read in the latest “In Fisherman” that it’s one of the top destinations for crappie. You lucky dog!

Welcome aboard I fished there years ago when my uncle Carl who have passed now lived there. Had a lot of fun. I live in NC on the crystal coast of Topsail Island

I'm originally from NC.
Gastonia, about 20 miles west of Charlotte.
Used to send summers at Holden Beach. Loved that whole area. One reason I mov d to FL. A dream come true but I still have to work for few more years before I retire.

Hey Robert, I fished it back November when we went over there for the day just before we moved down here.
Fishing wasn't great that day but I have seen reports of really good catches since then.
I may try to talk the wife into letting me go there one day this week while I'm off work.
