First time in a very long time.
Asked him remember me. Sorry for 50 year no call. But I got some questions.
How bout my friend of other faiths.
How bout my gay friends. Mjow bout the trans dude I know that is cool as s.$$it!
How bout my govornment not doing crap about African genocide.
How about my military training me to kill people in every way imaginable.
How about by boy I sent to war and he had to do unspeakable things.
I think God owes me some answers.
He ain’t called back yet
But I did meet a city council woman who was very sympathetic to my cause to work with a fantastic young pastor who works with inner city youth
I’m getting ready to gift a s# it ton of fishing gear to.
Hopefully with the help of my local Cabelas ( Met with a very kind manager today)
This young pastor served as missionary in Africa working with Muslim refugees.
He’s paid his dues in my opinion.
Deserves a break.
I’m full on believing in him.
Still have doubts about his doctrine. But that don’t matter.
I’m gonna make it my personal mission this guy is successful doing what he wants to do.
I repay my debts.

Hey Ben. What faith/ demonization is your pastor friend? His work sounds admirable. Was just wondering if he shared the gospel with you or others.
Glad you reached out to GOD again today. HE definitely hasn't forgotten you. Hope you continue to see your pastor friend and also talk to GOD. HE's the best listener.

Good luck with getting answers to those questions and many others. About 10 years ago I asked a lot of questions and for help during the toughest time in my life. He never answered me. But then he is God. He's probably pretty busy. Sounds like you are giving back to a worthy cause. You're doing it for you and for others. Sounds like a good way to do things to me.

I’m a believer Ben but that doesn’t mean any church or religion has it all correct. I too know good people who are homosexual and trans. I don’t understand but I do believe God doesn’t make mistakes. And when you know something about yourself that comes from your soul you just know it!!!

Anyone who studies religion will tell you they all have the similar stories that teach the same lessons. An all knowing God would for sure have realized that he could not come to all peoples of the world in the same form. Man has written down and created the books and doctrines that govern these religions. And usually hundreds of years after the events actually happened. Man has turned religion into something to kill each other over despite the fact that all religions believe Tho shall not kill.

I live my life by the golden rule and I believe Jesus is my savior. Not necessarily everyone’s. Some will see this as blasphemy. But I refuse to believe that a merciful god would condemn any good soul just because they weren’t born and raised Christian.

I say all this to say. Choose your own way to think about God and the way the rules of religions govern there flock. No church is beyond reproach because it is made up of humans! Keep on talking I know he’s listening. Doesn’t mean he’ll take action but just the talking is great for the soul.

Take Care
J

Yea the pastor said that scripture says homosexuality is a sin.
( one I don’t personally commit but others do and are decent enough folk)
He also said it’s not the boogeyman everyone makes it out to be.
Also said Christianity in general is exceptionally cruel to people who chose a different path. That they should be ashamed of themselves for alienating what can be children of God.
Like I said. This dude tells it like it is .

Sounds like a guy I could listen to his preaching.

You need a few more rigs. For those kids I have 6 or so I could donate.

Walleye fishing especially in the evenings here are great right now. Your always invited.

Wow J, wish I lived close enough for you to show me how to catch Walleyes. I've never fished for them . They don't have any around here that I know of.

I dream of living close enough to you to fish together regularly. I know we would have a great time! It’s very similar to trolling for stripers just slower. In the spring and fall. How many rods can you troll?

We can only fish with 1 rod each for stripers where we fish.
We have a 2 rod stamp on our license but you can't use it there. 👎

It's my belief that He answers us, but like any father knows, the answer may be " no, yes, not now" or somewhere in between. I've asked for many things only to find out later He knew best. Through faith, I trust Him.

Interesting. So if nothing happens is that a no, not now, or somewhere in between? Why is it always open to someone's interpretation of the answer? Seems to me, God would be a little more clear cut. But I don't claim to know how God operates like many people do.
