3 rd time fishing since I moved to Texas a few years ago. Trying to get back in the swing of it after many years of not fishing. Was out with a few friends and their 12 year old grandson caught this Black drum 40-50 pounds! It sure was fun to watch Iโm reel it in!

Just curious; how was the meat on that drum? Texture, taste, any worms?

What part of the Tx coast was this big ol Drum caught. if you dont mind sharing, being born and raised in SE tx and fish the coast frequently, and if daylight I could narrow down your location... Being thats its night time however, I cannot tell
