Slight chance it may be my computer but no updates are pending so I'll ask if anyone else has noticed the pages opening and closing slower than usual?

I have, but I use my phone so sometimes I donβt get a good signal

Well kandy, I've got Verizon too. They seldom admit to any problems on their end or with Safari. When I worked, I could compare performance between them and my work PC , and so I knew V was full of baloney.
Glad your hardware is OK. And contacting Verizon help is soooo difficult to start with. I have all my data backed up by a 3rd party, so when my iPad gives up the ghost, I'm done with Verizon. All I ever get out of 'em is the "opportunity" to purchase upgraded hardware, with no guarantees of improved performance.

Verizon? Must be having a fair share of problems. I get a message while i am on the phone talking to someone and i get a message that they can't complete the call. Never loss the other person through 3 V messages.

Could have been just a very busy time for people to use Verizon's internet.

I had that same problem this morning Kandy. Never had trouble in that location before. Parking lot at eye doctor n Gettysburg outlets mid afternoon. Has been ok lately ππ

Mine also seems fine Kandy. If there are no updates, you might just try turning it Off for a few minutes then back on, sometimes they just need to reboot. Good luck and hope it get better for you.
