Mother's Day

After I made my wife a bacon, cheese, onion and mixed peppers omelet for Mother's Day this morning, I cleaned up everything and left the kitchen spotless.

She asked me to get the slow cooker out so she could make spaghetti and Italian sausage for dinner. I obliged.

After she finished browning the sausages in a fry pan, she said: "I cleaned the pan so you wouldn't have to do it."

I told her that she really did not have to do that because it was Mother's Day...she could have waited until tomorrow and then cleaned it.

What a guy! LOL

Well I gave Suzanne a early, unpleasant present last night. I was working under the house, swung the hammer to knock an old electrical box down and just as I swung she walked in. That box hit her right in the upper lip and split it wide open. After a trip to the emergency room she ended up with 5 stitches in her upper lip right under her pretty little nose. The first stitches she's ever had and I'm responsible, I feel like a real heal. Her lip is swollen but she's in pretty good spirits, I'll have to make her something special when she can eat.
