Someone on here I can’t remember who, asked for a picture of my kayak set up, very modest but gets the job done. Going to add a fish finder soon. Good luck everyone.

Nice rig Gary. It's obviously working well for you. Tight Lines!

Good morning Gary, that was most likely me that asked. Kayaker myself and enjoy seeing others set ups.

Nice rig you got there just one question. Where do you put your catch?

This looks very much like mine. Agreed simple but effective

Thanks for the reply Gary. One tip for the yak.

You can get a low profile cooler to fit behind the seat and just strap it down with 1 bungee for keeping a cool drink or snacks.

That’s a nice set up you have there Gary. I also love fishing from my yak and also enjoy getting out and wading. I get a little exercise and enjoy the stealth aspect of kayaking. Do you drift fish out of it? Good luck and good fishing 😎👍

Have the same yak, add a stadium seat in place of what it came with, will make a world of difference

Great set up.... best advise I can give you is make your kayak your own and do what works best for you. I have a lot to do on mine but I started out with just a kayak and a fish finder. Now I have finders,LED lights, trolling motors ....the works.

My tackle box tucked under a bungee cord on the bow. Although I carry some hooks, weights, senkos and a few lures back with me. The kayak weighs 50 lbs.

I’m upgrading after this summer to a better kayak with a higher seat that I can stand up from. My wife will use the one I have.
