Ouch, I wish someone would develop a system to pump our surplus at least to the Continental Divide so those of you that need it, could utilize the water instead of flooding the Southern States.

That is a infrastructure well worth looking into starting up OJ. I saw pics last night of some reservoirs out west and don't know how they will ever recover.

Desalination plants are the only answer from i can come up with, with a pipe line and branches to many states.

Can do it with Oil but not water!!!!! No money in water distribution until somebody high up the chain runs out.

Glad you got bit anyway Dave. Sorry to hear about the conditions, wind is the worst. I hope everything on the boat worked well, and you got to break her in. You'll catch 'em next time. Thanks for the pictures.

Have not been to Berryessa in years. Was always a beautiful lake and fishing was good. Really sorry to see that.
Enjoy what you can, think it is only going to get worse.

We’ll DT you got out despite the fishing and weather conditions. This drought is hurting us in many ways, I like the idea of getting water from the Midwest, way too costly and difficult probably. I wonder whats more costly, desalinization or building the infrastructure in the Midwest to catch, store and pump? Probably neither will happen until a barrel of water becomes equal in value to that of oil!πŸ€ͺπŸ€‘
