Back to the fun of finding places to charge your Electric Car/Truck.
Just wait till there's millions of them. When they all come home from work and plug in, and everyone loses power because the grid can't handle the additional load. They have rolling brownouts out west every summer now, just wait for the extra draw. Stupid.

i thought we could just buy a 220 plug at Home Depot and everything would be good to go. “Oops!!! Didn’t think about everyone in the country plugging in at the same time” 💥.
They MAY have left out a few of the details regarding sustainability… 🤦🏼♂️

That's not the only thing they haven't thought about.

You gotta love the quote near the end of the article that says charging should be free and widely available. By that quote, gas should be free also, makes as much sense.
I'm tired of people thinking they deserve more and better than everyone else because they think they are helping the environment.
Wait until both the State and Feds start charging for miles driven to make up for the lost Gas taxes. Maryland is 34 cents per gallon and Clai is like 55 cents. Now about the Fed tax, it was supposed to be used for roads and bridges. But it and SSA was moved to the General Budget. The SSA was done with LBJ. Now with the Drought going on how much Electric is comes from the dams?

Time everyone get the bad new there figured all the tear peoples crying would fill the dams up!! You know it DC way of THINKING A Head 👍🏽🙏🇺🇸
I’m sure I read that correctly, Free electric to drive. Guess he’s a Democrat dumb a$$ or both.
How about free electric to LIVE? Now that I could find myself backing being it doesn’t have any negative impact on the environment to produce.
I’m thinking they need to get busy addressing the real p******c we’re dealing with. Good thing Stupid isn’t terminal in most cases or that v*****e would be the next agenda this so called leadership current would pursue.
Said it before, I’m buying a tow truck or two. Got this feeling they will be in high demand soon.

I think you’re right lip. I have a good friend, in Wyoming, that owns a towing business and nearly half of his business is new electric vehicles that have gone dead too far from a charging station. He bought a charging unit for his 3/4 ton pickup for $18,000.00 and it paid for itself in less than a year. He gets so much a mile and so much a minute for the charging fee. It’s usually between $250.00 and $500.00 depending on the distance and charge time. Most people take about a 1/2 charge that will get them to the nearest charging station. It’s costs about the same to get their vehicle hauled to a charging station. And guess what? Insurance don’t pay for it unless you upgrade to EV level. He said it’s about $60.00/month on most policies. 🤨
You and I, both, know the current administration is NOT for the best interest of legal American citizens anyway.
