Wrong time, wrong place

Spirit27 and Saw1 are out one afternoon on a Northern California lake when their boat starts sinking. Saw says to Spirit..."So listen, you know I don't swim so well. Could ya' help me out?"

Spirit remembered how to carry another swimmer from his lifeguard class when he was in the Navy. So Spirit begins tugging Saw toward shore. After twenty minutes, he begins to tire.

Finally, about 50 feet from shore, Spirit says to Saw, "So buddy, do you suppose now you could float alone?"

Saw replied, "Damn, Spirit, this is one hell of a time to be asking for money!"
