I saw a few post this past week and this caption says it best.
I bet it speaks for all of us.

That’s for sure Plumb, our well pump just died after 30 years of service and my wife was in crisis mode until I got it replaced.

bk i was in the plumbing business with a country plumber before getting into the electronics profession and can honestly say i feel your pain. Some of the biggest smiles ever seen in that business was when the water flowed again.
All but one customer, one goat, and a few pigs out of the few hundred wells we replaced, treated us like we were sent by the Lord and appreciated it in many ways.
It was those 2pm on Friday's that really tested our love for mankind.
Good morning Plum. We got rain last night. I am so thankful for all that God provide for us even the rain

That is good to hear. Did look rather dry on the pics.
Drove a few wells as a kid. We used shallow driven wells as our source of water. We were fortunate to have a well in our basement that had excellent water at about 20 feet. Dropped two points 20 feet apart to supply water for the jet pump that watered our 1 acre garden.

To borrow the words from a song, You don’t know what ya got til it’s gone. CLEAN and PURE water is becoming more and more scarce around the world. It’s precious.
Water is the secret to life…never take it for granted!
