I was reading a post today “Track ID” it’s a huge canine track that the poster was looking for what could have made it. Four mentioned it was Bigfoots pet and that made me think who has had a Bigfoot encounter. I have and I swear on my life this is what happened. We weren’t drinking or doing drugs! I Didn’t get into bad stuff till I was 16.

I was 14 years old and me and 2 buddies had snuck out of the house to go hangout with some girls. We left the house around 12:30 am. We traveled through the woods and then out into a nursery and bingo we where there! It was a pitch dark night and despite my extensive knowledge of the woods some light was needed for navigation. I fashioned a torch from a stick and some rags. We made it to the girls place without incident. At around 4:30 am we decided to head home. It was about a 3 mile trip. As we walked down the mile long nursery road we started to hear something off to our left. It seemed as if whatever it was, it was following us. We stopped walking and the rustling next to us got louder and closer. My friends took off running!! I dropped the torch and ran after them. As we got to a cross road approximately 100 yards from where I dropped the torch my friends stopped to make sure I was coming. As I got up to them we all looked back down the road and standing in the middle of the road nicely illuminated by my torch, that was maybe 15ft in front of it, was a Sasquatch. This thing was 8ft tall it raised its arms over its head and made a horrific scream at us. We took off again this time not stopping until we where back to my house (about 2 miles at a dead sprint). My buddies and I decided not to tell anyone because we figured people wouldn’t believe us and we had snuck out of the house. Never talked about it just went on with life. At my 25 year reunion one of the guys that was with me that night said, “ Ha, we saw Bigfoot that night didn’t we?!” I said, “Sure did.” That’s as much as we have ever discussed it. Never been so scared I my life! Believe me or not I don’t care because I’m telling you the truth. I’ve been in the woods my whole life. Seen deer, bears, coyotes, wolves, huge owls at night, this was not any of those.

I know others have had experiences are you brave enough to share them?

We will see if any others share there stories. A lot of people never really talk about it. With all are guys from the PNW I bet they will share. It’s a much more normal and accepted thing out there. Sittings are fewer in Oh, PA area but still happen. Many are probably nothing but this was SOMETHING!

I have had a run in with bigfoot. When I was just out of high-school I had a job working at Blue Knob state park. I had a job clearing off trails when trees would fall across them to keep them clear for hikers. The one day we where told that one of the hardest trails to get to had a tree across so myself and the one other guy that worked there got our saws and headed to the top of the mountain. When we got there we decided that instead of following the trail down we would just cut across country because the trail was a number of switch backs to get down. Well when we started down we came across a little ridge and right down in front of us by a downed log was a bigfoot. It noticed us at the same time we noticed it and it took off and on two legs and man that thing could move. All me and the other guy could do was just look at each other and wonder what we had just witnessed. I have been in the woods all of my life and they way this thing moved it was definitely not a bear or any kind of wildlife.

Good story J! I have had numerous (up close and personal) encounters with large, dangerous animals like bear, lions, elephants, bison and moose, but haven’t had a Bigfoot / Sasquatch sighting yet. Some of the woods I have been in (Canada, Northern WI and in the U.P. Of MI) I have seriously looked for sign, though 👀

I’ve heard tell there’s a “Bigfoot Bob” in Oregon. One of my clients has a plaster cast of one of his tracks. I kinda questioned the fact that it was a boot print with traction sole design😂😂

Knot so fast Loc: Northeast Pa.

There is a guy here in Pa. that makes turkey calls. He also makes a Sasquatch call! He was on a local outdoor show and blew into it for a demonstration. It sounded like a donkey passing a kidney stone. It really is used for making a gobbler sound off to locate it. But the guy has a sense of humor and has a disclaimer on the package stating that he is not legally responsible for any damages done by a responding bigfoot!

I am not doubting the encounter at all. There is a lot of stuff out there we know little or nothing about. That being said, is it possible that someone decided that encounter would be a good way to put an end to young boys sneaking out at night?

No. We continued to sneak out. We weren’t disturbing anyone this is the middle of No where in a nursery field. My parents definetly didn’t know we where out and about told them in my 20’s. This thing was 8ft tall and 800lbs bet. Not a person in a suite. I know the height for sure because I worked for the nursery that owned the property we where on and there where 7ft spruce on each side of the road. He towered over the trees. When it put its arms up a screamed at us there was no doubt that it was not a person. I don’t mind your skepticism my own wife doesn't believe.

Of all the times I have spent in the woods of Northern California I have never seen any sign of anything that might resemble a bigfoot. Wouldn't you think after all these years of game cameras someone would have a definitive picture or two?
