Hello all,
I am looking for a trailer tongue platform to assist walking on tongue when necessary to crank in the last few inches when loading boat. Anybody have one? Point me in right direction?

I had on my Lund Tyee when I had it, but I sold it with the boat. I got it from Cabela's, and it worked well. I don't have one on my pontoon or my Crestliner, but wished I did.

There are a bunch of them on the market. I would say you get what you pay for!

I made mine out of a piece of aluminum checkered plate. Drill and tap a couple holes and bolt it on. Easy peasy!

Great info. I seen all these, just was thinking it would be parallel with tongue and centered on tongue.

I have the steps and tall handle on my trailer and I love it. I drive my boat on leave it in gear and step out
and hook the winch up. The boat cant go any were and it is easy in and out.

If you want to go simple and cheap like me, take a proper length of 2"x12" board, center it lengthwise on the tongue. Then use two or three U-bolts around the tongue and through the board and torque it down. I didn't even bother to apply for a patent.

I recently ordered a WISE 101 Plank Boat Trailer Tongue Walkway from Amazon. Installed on pontoon trailer tongue in less than 30 minutes. Works great for me.

Thanks Bob, have researched the Trick steps, great for boarding boat, but don’t know if they will assist in cranking bow that last couple inches/hooking strap on after loading boat.
