First fish of the season

Iwish2fish Loc: Manchester, Michigan

Not a big guy, but water is still around 58 degrees and the bluegill are just starting to bed. There are a few little bass out there but it’s nice to know that the pike are reproducing to help control the bluegill. The catch should turn on soon if we don’t get anymore snow. 😒. No worries though, leaving for Florida gulf coast Thursday to hit the surf for the pompano, mackerel and reds. Hope we have good weather.
Keep your lines tight and stay safe.

Good luck in Florida, wished I was headed that way. Weather temperatures should be ideal.
