Don’t know if many of you follow my posts.
We rescued a dog last September who was dumped , collarless by a couple going thru a nasty split.
Actually rescued by a sweet lady who saw him walking up the middle of a very busy road. She stopped , he walked to the drivers side , sat down and looked at her like “ can you help a brother out “
We took him in and he’s been so perfect in every aspect of being a member of our family , I’m impressed every day.
He’s my dude.
Loves riding in daddy’s truck.
Take him along every chance I get.
Well today we made a road trip.
He did exceptional
1 mother in law , recently widowed , who don’t like dogs actually warmed up to him and she said the words “ if I had a dog like him, I’d love to have one, if you guys ever need me to watch him. Let me know “
2 he met a neighbor who just took her last chemo treatment for non hodgskins limphoma.
He had her laughing so hard she cried and she got down on her hands and knees and was playing slap your butt with him
3 he never once strayed from our sight.
4 he laid by my mother in laws feet and watched boats speeding by.
I’ve had some good dogs. This guy is so exceptional it’s hard to describe.
He was wore out and slept on the back seat the whole ride home.
He’s always “ business like” but on rare occasion wants to get “ froggy” and play a little.
Best dog ever

Can’t wait to get him out on new boat.
He will be happy for a week!!!
He has a need for speed. Witnessed that with old boat last year.

My wife and I have said that since we started rescuing pomeranians. They just seem to know what you need from them.
Another one we said all the time when one would seem to know what we were thinking is ' remember, dog spelled backwards is God'.

Two ex-wives(16 and 18 years respectively), or one day with a dog like that. I'll let you guess which way I'd go if I could do it over.
