Took all day but we picked up 12 nice walleye out of Wild Wings Marina. 26' of water. Reef runners and bandits with quite a few on purple colors.

Got a box full of reef runners and purple is always hot for some reason.
I rarely troll but when I do I always put purple in my strong spot.

Lunker city fin s in “ pimp daddy” is a wild purple/ chartreuse walleye slaying machine!!
I just stocked up on 4 bags In prep for this trip.
Will definitely have one tied on.

Lots of nice fish here for sure. We went out at 6 this morning knowing some wind was coming and caught 4 before it got bad. Trolling out by a can again. Rain forecast for tomorrow but we're here til Thursday.

Had 2 great days getting our limts on walleye both days. 2-3' waves today but had a ball out by A can again. Purple is still catching most of the fish. Headed back to Michigan tomorrow as it looks like 20 mph nw winds will keep us off the water. A day early but that's OK. Here's a picture of our catch today.

Lots of people jigging in that area, they said they were using a bare jig with some maribou hair on them. we messed around with blade baits for a half hour but no success. Yellow was working for some guys we talked to in the restaurant.

Hot lures down there if anyone goes. Caught 9 on the bottom pattern one day. Good luck if you can get there.
