I say it's Mother Nature and that b#@%* got me again. Made a Clear Lake run to gather fresh Intel for the meet and greet. Sorry fellas but didn't even launch the boat (see pic) as the swells are just starting and will only get worse. So my info is 2 weeks old but better than nothing. Senko's fished wacky or Neko and a chatterbait were the best baits. Neko out fished wacky 3 to 1! The bass are really angry as they came in shallow and the weather turned cold keeping the water temp at just under 60 degrees. So they are in limbo waiting to spawn and it looks like Sunday and Monday it will get up to 80 so I think we will the entire lake turn on. You'll probably be able to throw the kitchen sink and get bit. We'll find out soon enough!

Same here, and mother nature is not letting up. Between the wind, temp, and the threat of rain daily. I haven't got a chance to do some of that stuff called 'catching'. I did go once or twice this year and 'fished'.

For me, back before I retired it was my work schedule. If I had an important appointment that took first priority, but after that, usually I went any time I chose. Now that I am both retired and crippled, I don't go at all. Just Sayin...RJS

I pretty much go fishin any time I want, weather permitting.
I have gotten more cautious with bad weather though. If I'm gonna be uncomfortable goin out, I'll just stay home.

Damn, I wasn't aware that's how it works. I would have stopped counting at 40.

Now that I'm done working, it's 99%weather, and 1% if the wife has made plans.

Yes it is Steve, now if we would just get some warm dry weather, I'd be all set.
