Caught this puppy on a live pin fish. He got into the rocks and I thought I would have to break him off. A passing boat offered to take me on board to chase him. Just as they were pulling up he headed for the channel so I was able to land him

That's what I thought, but it's natural camo makes it hard to see when zoomed. Ain't that the way it goes, but still a nice fish.

Actually I’m pretty sure that is a juvenile Goliath grouper. Fully protected right now. They are thinking of doing a very limited season in the future.
