This caught this 131lb blue catfish using 30lb test line. Jackson Mississippi. I know he fought for a while. The guy had to know what he was doing.

I'd like to see his rod and reel. Would be interestin to see what he caught it on. Wonder how long it took him to land it?

Think I would take a photo and let it go. Not sure if I could even pick it up. Like a old boar hog not to tender I would think. Then again one hell of a fish fry.

News report said it took him 40 minutes of fight to get it landed. Definitely not a kayak fish

I think it would be a feast of nuggets for a lot of people. I would love to see his gear to. He may have shot it to get it out.

No idea Troy, I’ve never eaten a fish even near that big. Appears that rascal would feed an entire church picnic.

And some left over. I think I would have released it so it could make more babies. A 30lb line? His face shows he is worn out
