Welcome to the stage Nanny. I've heard apple creek has good fishing but I've never fished up that way. Young kids first time you'll probably want to fish for bluegills with small hooks with red worms under a bobber. If you can find a farm pond with fish you should be able to catch fish also. Check with local bait shops an ask questions they'll help. Google and YouTube are great resources to watch videos. Good luck an share your adventures 👍
