Inca doves…. Interesting. Thought it was some species of dove ( much like our mourning dove in structure but with different plumage)but am not familiar with that one. Very nice.

Yes, we had Inca doves in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas but I did not recognize those in the picture. Those in the pic are all with their feathers ruffled up, not down smooth, and I wasn't able to recognize them. Just Sayin...RJS

Yes, in RGV there were hundreds of them. It was a cool morning so the puffed up to stay warm.

You have just reminded me of when I lived in the RGV, during white wing dove season, I would have a lot of visitors who would spread their cots on my back porch, which extended all across the back of my house. They were fellow salesmen who worked for the same company as I.

We had a Mexican maid, but on weekends she would go home, so her bathroom was available for my guests. Those were the 'good old days!" Just sayin....RJS
