I’m new to the forum and my name is Paul. I am a freshwater fisherman mostly in KY, TN and AL. I primarily fish for bass, crappie and bluegill, but haven’t been able to fish much over the past 7yrs (health issues). However, of recently I’ve been fishing with my father-in-law who is 74yrs old. He is a panfish fisherman (prefers crappie & bluegill). So, I am hoping to get some good input/advice and knock the rust off my fishing skill with your help. I look forward to interacting and communicating with other members of the forum.

Welcome aboard Paul. BIL fishes around Sparta, Cookeville area but I don't know much about where he fishes. Good luck.

Thanks troyfrd1. I’m more of a bass fisherman for past 35 yrs, but my father-in-law is a crappie man. If we have a good trip, I will be sure to post some pics and info on our catch. PDA

Welcome Paul to FS. I live near Douglas in TN and fish there quite a bit. I've also fished Ft. Loudon, Tellico and surrounding lakes. I'm limited without a boat but have caught some nice bass in Lenoir City near the park.
