Installed my Drotto Boat clamp hookup Saturday. Looks like it will work good but might need minor adjustment.
I have read some think it’s to expensive but I am 75, minor balance concern and not a great boat operator.
I consider it a safety for myself.
I will post more after I use it a few times.

And I ordered my Drotto last night! I'm 73, and want to continue fishing alone. Next, after I get the Drotto hooked up, I'll be ready for steps attached to the trailer. For me, this is money well spent. I look forward to following, Marvin!

Looking forward to seeing what you think of the Drotto and am considering some of Brian’s Custom Steps myself. I can still step on the trailer and swing a leg over, but no idea for how long…

I looked at some of those steps. Thinking about getting some myself.

Egg had one on the boat he gladly took to Flaming Gorge with me and it worked awesome.

He welded a solid handle on it instead of the adjustable flimsy one it comes with. Once it is properly adjusted you could simply weld the rods or angle in place so would never lose the proper setting.
