Born & raised N.O.,La now in bayou Country but trying to find good holes is rough I don't know many places I fish off the banks/piers gators hang on the banks of most bayou water out this way

Welcome to the stage. I also have fished along La. 1 south of Leeville. Many good spots especially along the old section which is now bypassed by the new elevated section to Fourchon. If you’re in Lafourche I suspect we’ve fished many of the same spots. Give Elmers island a shot too. Plenty of places to fish along with the old fishing pier at Caminada pass. Good luck.

Was planning to go today but that 🥶 is stopping hubby from coming an Elmer's island not place to go alone

Welcome to the stage, and give the hugs out to each of your girls. Do they fish? Of course anytime you around water in Sout Louisiana, you have to pay close attention the waters edge. Both gators and snakes are starting to come out into the sun and warmth.
