Was back at Skinner this morning and I did pretty well with eight fish (not up to NoCal standards). My buddy Rick got skunked and broke a pole, so not a happy camper. That was the reason for an early departure (11:30am). Nothing real big so only took a couple of pics. One pic was really different so thought I would share. Is God trying to tell me something!

Congrats on that catch! Great photos, 8 fish is a great day of catching! Sorry about your buddies day. I no all about a pole breaking, one of my best poles snapped in two on hook set last week fishing off the bank at Sonoma lake, I always hike with 2 or 3 poles. Good luck and be safe!!

Bummer for your buddy, but now has a reason to buy a new rod! (Glass half full). Nice pics, couldn’t photo shop that if you tried!

Lost a good spinning reel and 7ft rod to my trolling motor in Sonoma lake recently at first thought a big fish had pulled it over but when I got home saw all that line wrapped around the trolling motor ☺️
