Isn't that the truth. Getting a boater safety card is a joke. You take the course on line. You can put anyone's name on. Should be a test site. Then again you don't need to do much to get a driver's license anymore 👍

They cracked down on motorcycle licenses here. You used to walk in, take the test, and walk out with a learners permit. Then you show up a month later on a bike, and they sent you down the road to a park, circle back around to the DMV, and if you made it alive you got a license.
Now you have to take a several hour class, to get your permit, and when you go back, you have to ride thru an obstacle course, low and high speed. If you hit a cone you fail. I honestly don't think I could do the low speed part, with the Harley. My balance ain't what it used to be.
Easy to compensate on the road, just don't go slow.
