I and some friends are going down to Clak Hill crappie fishing 4/16 full moon week and would like some advise as to jig colors and etc. We are staying at Elijah Clark state park and would welcome any advice or suggestions. Thanks in advance!!
Hello Bartrak: You have come to the right place. The Fishing Forum has more than 60,000 members and that means there is a lot of experience, wisdom, and yes, a lot of B.S.
Sorry, but I am not familiar with the water you plan to fish. I expect there are a number of fishermen in your state who are familair with that lake. Hopefully, you will hear from someone who is familair with the lake. Just Sayin...RJS

Jigs will work in your normal colors.
Chartreuse, white , red, etc…
If you want to cast over shallow areas for spawning fish, or tops of shallow brush piles.
Minnows over brush 4-15 ft deep has been the better bite of you find them.
