Hello I’m new to the marquette area and trying to get on some fish. I was reading that little, shallow streams work best for spring and to just float a leaf worm on the top. Any suggestions on locations or tactics?

Ernieegan11: Well Ernie, you haven't given us much to go on to help you. Sounds like you might be asking about fly fishing and I know almost nothing about that type.

I was looking at doing just regular open face reel fishing.
I can fish from, boat, kayak, or shore.

My Brother lives in Marquette, but still too much ice on the tributaries for his buddies to fish.
