Youngest son and I launched at Clear Lake Oaks. We headed towards the North but turned back because the rollers were to big and far apart. Went into the South arm and found the water temp at 58.8 (same in Rattlesnake arm) so we kept going to the shallow south end. Water temp between 61 and 62. My son caught a limit and I caught 4. Best 5 weighed 18.25. About 5pm we decided to try to get to the North end. We did and found water temp between 64 and 65. We found schools of bass and many double digit in a feeding frenzy trying to beef up for the spawn. One of the most awesome things I've ever seen. I burned an LV over the top of new grass growth and hooked a monster that shook the bait after 15 seconds of intensity. Next my son caught 2.25 lb crappie and as the son was setting he hooked into the big one with his chatterbait. The fight was long and intense but my net job was perfection. 11.5 lbs of Clear Lake catfish. Poor kid. He really thought he had his double digit bass. Overall the fishing was fantastic and the best fishing is still to come. Oh yes, for the bass I had big fish at 4lbs 13 oz

Nice day guys! Thanks for sharing!
I had an 11#+ catfish do a perfect walleye imitation one night while fishing with some buddies. It was thrilling until I saw the whiskers in the reflection of the moon on the water ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ
