I am currently vacationing on Douglas Lake in TN. Fishing has been horrible. The lake is down considerably. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the stage Bozie. I'd say they lower the lake for Spring rains just like they do a lot of lakes in Ohio. I'd get ahold of local bait shops talk to them. Good luck an share your pics 👍

fish a draw down lake here in southern TN and they can be hard to figure out this time of year. My suggestion would be to tie on a crawfish imitating crank bait, preferably red, put the trolling motor on high and cover as much water as you can. Being pre-spawn time of year try areas where deep water meets shallow flats, stay close to the old river channel and hit any pocket with some shallow water. Fish areas where the sun shines most of the day and keep an eye on water temps. 1 or 2 degree difference can make a lot of difference this time of year.
