I’m new to St Augustine and have surf cast once. Is there a certain bait I should use? Any info would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard Doug. I usually get a bag of frozen shrimp out of my freezer to surf fish with. All fish eat shrimp. Don't forget about the ICW. There is some good fishing in there also. Try to put your bait right where the waves are breaking or just past that. Good luck Doug. And we love pictures.
